This short piece by filmmaker Tracy Dill includes 3 community art projects in Baltimore facilitated by cultural worker Cinder Hypki. Fifth graders at Tench Tilghman Elementary School designed and created mosaic murals at the school's entryway as a legacy to future students. Youth Dreamers worked with Cinder on the Joy Mosaic as a gift for the Shepherd's Clinic. 30 students in the Interfaith Council at Johns Hopkins University created a commemorative mosaic in honor of the anniversary of the Interfaith and Community Service Center. The projects' common thread is fostering creative ideas in service to community and in the process, encouraging new voices to claim a vital space within it.
